Find out what motivates him in his profession, his enthusiasm for his first Olympic experience and more!

Q : When did you join the Institut? When did you start your profession? Which sports do you work with?

I completed my studies in physiotherapy at McGill University in 2015. I started at the Institut in 2018 with the boxing discipline and a multisport clientele. Since 2020, I’ve been working with water polo and currently support the men’s and women’s national teams.

Q : What’s your role before the Games?

To support the women’s water polo team in terms of injury prevention and management in Montreal and during training camps, in order to ensure the best possible preparation for the Games.

Q : What’s your role at the Games?

Since I work with the team all year round, I have a very good understanding of the needs of the team and of each player in terms of therapeutic follow-up. So I can offer them the same services they’ve received all year round, which helps reduce stress during the competition.

Q : How do you contribute to the athletes’ success?

I get a lot of satisfaction when the athletes I work with perform at the top of their game.

Q : Is this your first experience at the OlympicGames?

Yes, I’m really looking forward to the experience, because it’s a competition that’s widely recognized around the world and only happens once every four years. Our athletes have been preparing for this moment for several years, so I can’t wait to see them perform on the big stage.

Q : What do you love most about your job?

Being able to work with hyper-motivated individuals who push themselves beyond their limits. Also, every week is very different, and I’m constantly in the process of learning and improving in my field.
