Roger Archambault Appointed as Vice-President, Performance Services

ROGER ARCHAMBAULT RETURNS TO INS QUÉBEC AS VICE-PRESIDENT, PERFORMANCE SERVICES

His intimate knowledge of the organization, its network and its partners, combined with his leadership and visionary thinking will ensure continued growth

The next Vice-President, Performance Services of the Institut national du sport du Québec (INS Québec) is already well known both in the Institut’s environment and in the Québec and Canadian sport communities. INS Québec is pleased to announce the returning of Mr. Roger Archambault who served in the same role from 2019 to 2021. He will be responsible for a team of about fifty people regrouped in the medical-sport services, scientific services, performance services and professional development services. He will take up his duties on May 15th.

Prior to joining INS Québec, Roger Archambault was Assistant Director, High Performance with the University of Ottawa’s Excellence Teams and Sports Clubs, a position he held from 2016 to 2019. Previously, he worked at the Canadian Olympic Committee where he was Manager of Olympic Team Services. He has also held a number of high performance and administrative management functions with national sport federations, including 18 years as coach of the national biathlon team. He was also Director of the Service des loisirs, des sports et du développement des communautés for Ville de Gatineau.
