Third edition of the INS Québec fundraising event crowned with success thanks to the business community
Before an audience of close to 200 people assembled last night at the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal for the fundraising evening of the Institut national du sport du Québec (INS Québec), Tom Quinn, Chairman of the Board and Gaëtan Robitaille, Chief Executive Officer, announced the amount of donations raised by the business community. This year, funds raised totalled $95 000, bringing the total amount invested in the Fonds d’excellence to nearly $400,000 for the first three editions of this fundraising event.
By making a financial contribution to the mission of the INS, the business community enables athletes in Québec to progress toward excellence. This contribution will enable the INS to enhance and develop services in sport sciences, sports medicine and personal support provided to high-performance and next-generation athletes as well as the other service providers who support them across Quebec. In partnership with the athletes and their trainers, INS Québec employees, members of the sports community and sponsors, INS Québec also ensures ongoing access to a world class training environment.
“We are proud to make a difference in thoroughly preparing athletes and also to have become an essential partner in helping them make their dreams a reality. By providing them with access to world class training platforms and all the expertise they need to achieve the best performance of their lives, and by continuously improving the way we do things, we show that the athlete is our primary preoccupation,” said Tom Quinn, Chairman of the Board.
Thanks to its network of regional multi-sport training centres and its Complex at Olympic Park, INS Québec is a solid ally for high-performance athletes and their coaches, helping to facilitate their ascent to the highest levels.
